MiDatabank is an enquiry management system that is used in most MI centres to record clinical enquiries. In July 2026 a new web-based version of MiDatabank (MiDBOnline) was lauched after considerable development between CoAcS and the Welsh Medicines Advice Service Project Team. 

The old version of MiD will be fazed out as existing subscriptions are renewed, but UKMi documents relating to this version will be available in the MiDatabank section below until it is no longer in use.

FAQs and a user guide will be available within MiDOnline, although the 'MiDBOnline' section provides documents on: realising the benefits of MiDOnline, navigating the transition to MiDBOnline, and explaining the different user roles available in MiDBOnline. This section also contains guidance on 'Retaining MiDatabank Data after transitioning to MiDBOnline'.
